Paulites Annual Dinner 2026: An Evening of Legacy, Leadership and Lifelong Bonds

The Paulites Annual Dinner 2026, held on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at the campus of St. Paul’s High School, Belagavi, turned into a memorable evening celebrating legacy, continuity, and the enduring spirit of Paulites across generations.

A remarkable 451 Paulites attended the dinner, representing batches from 1967 to 2024, making it a truly inter-generational gathering. Adding grace to the occasion was the presence of former and present teachers, reaffirming the deep bond between the institution and its alumni.

A Thoughtfully Curated Programme

The evening commenced with the formal welcome of the Principal and Vice-Principal of St. Paul’s High School, followed by the outgoing and incoming leadership teams of Paulites of Belgaum Worldwide (PBW) being invited to the dais.

The proceedings were initiated with an invocation led by the Father Principal, seeking blessings for the institution and the alumni fraternity, followed by the School Anthem, which saw every Paulite rise in unison—an emotional moment for many in the gathering.

Reflecting on the Past, Passing the Torch

Outgoing President Dr Madhav Prabhu addressed the gathering, supported by video highlights showcasing PBW’s activities and achievements over the past three years. His address reflected the collective effort, growth, and increasing engagement of Paulites across the globe.

A key highlight of the evening was the Handover Ceremony, where the leadership baton was formally passed on to Dr. Anil Patil, the incoming President. The symbolic adorning of the lapel pin, presentation of the sash, and handover of the torch marked a seamless transition of responsibility and vision.

Looking Ahead: A New Term Begins

The new PBW team was introduced to the audience, followed by Dr. Anil Patil’s President’s Address, where he outlined his vision and plans for the upcoming term, emphasizing continuity, inclusiveness, and active alumni participation.

The evening also featured a special address by Fr. Andre Antao, who spoke about his book and shared reflections that resonated deeply with the values of education, service, and gratitude.

Celebrating Shared Memories

A media presentation titled “Expressions”, featuring messages and visuals from teachers and fellow Paulites, evoked nostalgia and reminded everyone of the shared journeys that bind the community together. Updates on the Paulites Link magazine, PBW website, and social media initiatives were also shared, highlighting PBW’s ongoing efforts to stay connected and relevant.

The formal programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Secretary Mr. Anant Nadgouda, followed by the National Anthem.

Dinner and Fellowship

The evening seamlessly transitioned into a dinner and cultural programme, with music and conversations continuing well into the night. Old friendships were rekindled, new connections were formed, and memories were made—true to the PBW spirit.

Once a Paulite, Always a Paulite.
The Annual Dinner 2026 was not just an event, but a reaffirmation of belonging—to a school, to a community, and to a lifelong bond that transcends time and batches.
